Not scary, but being from the area I enjoyed the first two thirds as a fun book about the main character on the gulf coast of fla, overcoming his injuries after an accident.  But the last third with the horror part wasnt scary at all.

Wanted to like this one more than I did -- some good creepy stuff at times, but too long, disjointed, and overall not great.
