This book was terrible. I'd never read an Ellery Queen before and won't seek one out anytime soon. The solution to the mystery was obvious, and the melodrama a bore.
One other note, book didn't really take me three weeks to finish. I started it at the beach in June on day, left the book there, and picked it up on July 1st to finish. Took two days to plow through, only struggling because I was bored with it.
